Sweet Greeting Cards for Your Sweetie

Hey, how about a few more cards?!  I thought so.  :)

I’m not sure how you guys feel about this, but I think traditional wedding gifts are really weird.  Who the heck wants paper?!  That’s totally not romantic at all.  Here’s a card to help you cheat a little on your first anniversary–after all, technically this card is made of paper.

Did you know that the first anniversary is the paper anniversary?I think that means that this card is the perfect gift.

I am a firm believer that a sweet greeting card given at a random time helps a relationship stay strong.  When we first met, Y noticed that I always save the best part of what I’m eating for last.

Cinnamon toast is the perfect example.  You know how the best part of cinnamon toast is the part where there was a little too much butter, so it’s extra gooey?  Well, I eat the crust first, then work my way in a circle until the only thing left is that delicious gooey bite. Y told me he loved me enough to give me the best part of the cinnamon toast.  I told him I’d rather share it.

Thus, this any-occasion card:

Love is...Sharing the last carrot.

And because I think deer are pretty much the cutest things ever (especially fawns), here’s a sweet deer-themed anniversary card.  Simple and to the point.  :)

I love you deerly.happy anniversary.

New Bridal Party Cards!

I’ve got a lot of new greeting cards to go up in the shop this week, and I’m excited to share them with you!  First up are more bridal party cards.  At popular request, I’ve recently added a “Will You Be My Maid of Honor?” and “Will You Be My Matron of Honor?” to the shop to compliment the funny “Will You Be My Bridesmaid?” cards that everyone seems to love.  :)

They say I need someone to hold up my dress when I have to pee. Will You Be My Bridesmaid?

I also added a flower girl card:

There is a Very Special Job on my wedding dayand only one girl to do it! Will you be my Flower Girl?

And the latest (and I think final, unless you guys have suggestions!) is this cute little ringbearer card:

There is a Very Big Job on my wedding dayand only one guy to do it! Will you be my ringbearer?

There’s also a card to give your new in-laws, thanking them for welcoming you into their family:

I am so excited to join your pack!Thank you for welcoming me to your family.

And a great “day of” card for your new husband or wife: the “On this Day” card.  There are three different versions–one featuring a bride giving her heart, one featuring a groom giving his heart, and one with a plain heart, just in case you don’t like the people.  :)

On this day... I give you my heart

Everything is live in the shop now!

K & S: Look what’s on the way!

::edit:: WOW, the mail works fast!  K & S received these before this post even went up!  hahaha.  Oh well, I’ll share them with everyone else.  :)

After looking at these photos, I’m realizing that my photo-taking skills are lacking, and I could probably use some Photoshop lessons!  But anyway, this isn’t about me, it’s about K & S!

K & S have a VERY romantic love story–but I’ll probably save that for the reveal of their wedding invitations.  They’ll be getting married next August in Denmark (S’s homeland), and needed a Save the Date with an RSVP-type function.  I set up their website with an RSVP form, and we included a link in the text.

img_7537.jpg

Their Save the Date is a  two-sided postcard with a magnet.  One side of the postcard is in English (for the American guests) and the other side is in Danish (for the Danish guests).  The magnet can be affixed to either side with a removable glue dot.

One of the magnets on my work board!  I love them.  :)  Believe it or not, these are my first magnets!

I am totally thrilled with these, and so are K & S!  I can’t wait to get started on their invites.  :)

Look what’s on the way!  I’m really excited about this invitation suite–it’s so fun and vibrant!  M & A are getting married on the Fourth of July.  Their wedding colors are aqua and red (which look fantastic together, by the way!), and they’re getting married in a garden.  I’m so excited by how these turned out!
