stinkerpants design

I adore these!  I finished these a couple of weeks ago for an awesome couple who were married at the beginning of November.  They love Calvin and Hobbes and wanted something inspired by a drawing they showed me.  As true cat lovers (like me!) they definitely wanted to include their kitties.

J & P will be using these as thank you cards for their wedding.  The great thing about them, though, is that they can be used for more than just thank you notes!  They’ll be using them as regular stationery after all the thank you’s are done.  :)

It’s obviously far less exciting than the front, but I wanted to show you guys–I’ve been using this style for the past few projects I’ve done.  I decided to remove my logo from it because some people weren’t too wild about it.  What do you think?

I met J to give him the cards, and he was so sweet–he gave me this awesome custom-made cookie, which was a favor for their wedding!  How awesome is this!?  And it was delicious, too.  :)

Thanks so much for hiring me, you guys!  I *love* these so much, I wish I could use them for my own stationery!

Before our honeymoon, I finished a couple of projects that I love.  This is one of them!  Thank you cards for C &D, who were married at an adorable church in Tiburon.

Aren’t they cute?  I adore the church!  A few days before I finished these, I went out to lunch with my friend Karen.  I asked her how her recent weddings have been, and she said she just finished a wedding at a really cute church in Tiburon.  Long story short, we figured out that she did the flowers for C & D!  How awesome!  Check out their flowers here.  I have some talented friends.  :)

 J is so cute!  She and D are getting married on Stanford’s campus, which (if you haven’t been there) is absolutely gorgeous.  Their ceremony is at the Stanford Memorial Church, so they wanted me to include the church as well as Hoover Tower (a landmark on campus).  I’m really excited about how these turned out!

 A & T are so cute!  A contacted me because she wanted table cards for her wedding.  After some discussion we ended up designing these thank you cards, then changing the sign on the side of the trolley for each one of her tables.  I love how these turned out!  Can you see Alcatraz back there?

A couple of months ago, I was excited to do some rehearsal dinner invitations for the lovely A.  How excited was I when she asked me to do her thank you notes, too?!  I can’t even express how happy I am with these thank you cards!  They’re so happy!

M was my very first client and has since become a close friend!  She and S had their engagement pictures taken at Baker Beach and asked me to create a drawing set in the same location.  M cracked me up from the very beginning, when she described what she and S should look like: “I have a huge smile–it looks like I have a coat hanger in my mouth–and S’ hair looks kind of like Elvis.”  I love these cards–they will always have a special place in my heart.  :)

Thanks for inspiring me to start Stinkerpants Designs, M, and here’s to many more years of friendship!  I can’t wait to hear what your friends and family think of these!
