About Stinkerpants Designs
Planning a wedding is a labor of love. It costs a lot of money and takes a lot of time. Why spend all that energy planning your wedding day if it’s going to be indistinguishable from everyone else’s? You want your guests to walk away from your wedding thinking, “wow, that was awesome! It was so them!” …not “that was just another wedding.” This was the original thought behind Stinkerpants Designs, an illustration company looking to help brides and grooms express their unique personalities.
Every bride and groom want a special wedding. To Stinkerpants, “special” isn’t just a word: it’s who you are, both as individuals and as a couple. Each design is handcrafted to express what makes you special, meaning that every drawing is one-of-a-kind. After all, you are unique, and so is your relationship. Why would your wedding be any different?
Stinkerpants Designs is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and now offers a wide variety of creations. Although it started with weddings, Stinkerpants has expanded to include drawings for children, personal stationery, home art, and events of all kinds. There is nothing that Stinkerpants can’t do, and “open to (almost) anything” is the mantra around here. Stinkerpants also creates a line of greeting cards called “Scrumptious Cards from Stinkerpants Designs,” featuring whimsical and novel drawings.
Stinkerpants Designs was born in 2007 and is the brainchild of illustrator Sara Olsher. As an only child, Sara had a lot of time to develop a wild imagination, and spent most of her childhood running around outside, playing in the dirt. In her spare time, she drew beautiful masterpieces (usually featuring unicorns or pet rats) for her father to hang in his office.
Not many people are able to turn their childhood passion into work they love; Sara feels very lucky to have the opportunity to be creative for a living. Her favorite part of the process is getting to know what makes her clients special, and translating their individual personalities into tangible artwork. Taking abstract ideas and turning them into bright and fun drawings is very rewarding, and she loves to hear her clients say, “that’s perfect! I LOVE IT!”
