Save the Date: Angela & Hayden Illustrated in a Boat

When Angela contacted me and told me she'd like to be rowing a boat with her fiancé and her dog, I was thrilled. I absolutely love how her drawing turned out!

Angela also asked that I turn their Save the Dates into a wedding theme.  Here's an example of how I can easily change a larger drawing into an image that can be put on pretty much anything from out of town bags to water bottle labels:

Save the Date: Ryan & Kyle

One of my favorite parts of my job is the people I "meet." My clients tend to be really fun and creative, and generally have a sense of humor, too. Ryan and Kyle were certainly no exception to this, as you can see from their Save the Date below. 

I'm sure you can see why this is one of my favorite Save the Dates of all time! I think their kitties are pretty much the funniest thing ever. I heart them.

Rachael & Brian: Illustrated Save the Dates

Every once in awhile, a client sends me a photo of their pet that makes me laugh out loud.  Diva the Pit Bull was one such pet.  This dog has LOADS of personality, and she is so totally spoiled by her parents that I immediately loved her too.  

This drawing was fun because a) I got to draw Diva, b) this pose?! OMG it's totally fun - not your typical wine country Save the Date, is it?  Love.

Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco Save the Dates

Although I work with clients all over the world, I get a lot of local clients, as well!  A common theme in my drawings is the Golden Gate Bridge.  S & S wanted a custom drawing of themselves in front of the bridge, as seen from beautiful Baker Beach.  In addition to Save the Dates, S & S also ordered this illustration on thank you notes and as wall art. Talk about making your budget work for you!

The back side of their Save the Date is a faded version of the front - a perfect way to provide all the information you need, but not crowd your main drawing. :)
