Wish Tree Poster Misprint!

Happy Sunday, folks!

I accidentally made a mistake recently when having the Wish Tree Poster printed - I formatted it so the tree is too close to the edge of the poster paper. OOPS. I don't want to sell them at full price, so I'm offering them to you guys at nearly 50% off (plus free shipping within the US)

Normally priced at $55, I have three Wish Tree Posters I'm offering at $30, including shipping. There are only three, though - so order it quickly if the misprint doesn't bother you! Check out the photos above to see the problem. :) Here's the link to the sale posters - get 'em while they're hot!

Here are the deets:

This poster-size wish tree is perfect as a guestbook at a baby shower, rehearsal dinner or intimate wedding. It also makes a great art print for a child's bedroom.

This tree is composed of 31 large circles (~1.5" diameter), 31 medium circles (~1" diameter) and 24 small circles (~3/4" diameter), for a total of 86. The small circles are large enough for guests to sign their names, and the large circles are the perfect size for a short message (or "wish" as the case may be!).

The wish tree poster is a plain tree with no animals or people, and is a standard poster size at 18" x 24". It is printed on beautiful luster gloss poster paper.

Stinkerpants Baby Model Search: the Winners

Deciding on the winners of this contest was a lot harder than I expected.  Every baby was adorable.  And while I never intended to pick just one winner, I never thought I'd have a hard time choosing around five or so.  But we seriously could NOT narrow it down. And because we couldn't send out 45 shirts, we decided on the (still big) number of 10 winners.

We spent three hours trying to choose the top babies, trying to evaluate based on a winning combo:

  1. the baby was cute (uh, everybody made that cut)
  2. the baby was big enough to sit up in a photo
  3. the baby would fit into the biggest shirt size we had
  4. the photos were nice (ie, we thought you might be able to take good photos of your adorable baby in our shirt)

Even with those requirements, we had a really, really hard time.  We even called in reinforcements (my mom) in the eleventh hour, because we COULD NOT ELIMINATE ANYONE, but she wasn't home (the nerve!).  Way more babies made the cut than we could send shirts to, so eventually we had to randomly pick the winners from our pool of finalists.  It was rough. The cuteness almost killed us.

So before I announce the winners, I have to tell you something else: we decided that we have to do this again. First off, there were a lot of really cute babies that either were too little to sit up, or we weren't sure if they could.  In just a few months, those babies will be champion sitters. Second, we only have up to size 18-24 months, and it's a small shirt. There were some really cute babies that wore size 24 months and might be too big for that shirt - so we've decided to add 2T & 3T sizes.  So if you entered and didn't win, PLEASE ENTER NEXT TIME!

Also, all of our entrants are getting Stinkerpants stickers, because they rock.

And with that, our first round of Stinkerpants Model Babies:

Aren't they adorable?  Yes, yes they are.  Thank you to everyone who entered!  I'll be in touch soon.  :)

Giveaway Winner, plus more Family Portrait info

As you may recall, last week Stinkerpants & Elizabeth Anne Designs joined forces for an awesome giveaway!  And although I announced the winner on Facebook and Twitter, I’ve got to do it here, too.  :)

The winning entry was a tweet from the dear @abbyroad, who has two super cute pooches that I can’t wait to draw–and because she wants me to do a Family Portrait, I definitely get to!  Yay!

The response for the  Family Portraits, by the way, has been totally awesome!  How exciting!

On my blog post announcing the portraits, Rachel and Katie both asked about the pricing structure and when I’d be adding it to my shop.  At the time, I thought, “I’ll make a new post to answer that question!” and then suddenly it was September 3rd.  Sorry for the delay, guys!

Family portraits start at $300 and include printing on thick acid-free art paper, which is ready to frame.

Actually, when I say, “starting at,” I should really say, “for most people,” because unless you have 13 cats and a dog like my newest client (super excited about that one!), $300 is it. ;)

I hadn’t even thought to add it to the shop (thanks for the suggestion, Rachel!), just because I work so closely with my custom clients that I prefer they contact me.  However, most of my custom work aren’t set prices, either, so I decided to add it!  Well, sort of.  ;)  It’s in the shop, but I still ask people to contact me if they’re interested.

Hopefully that answers all the questions, but leave a comment if you have another one, and I’ll answer you!

Thank you so much for all the support, you guys.  I seriously feel so loved.  I’m at 199 Facebook fans, too, which is awesome!  Thank you!

Last Winner! Plus, Moustache Glass: Have You Seen This?

picture-2.jpg

My handwriting on the computer is pretty slick, don’t you think?  ;)  At least you can read it (for the most part anyway).   If you can’t read it, I’ll translate: “last winner! (for now…).”  That’s right, folks, it’s the winner of the very last bridal book.  The winner is Kathryn, commenter #6:

Kathryn Says:

Another book that I would love to help with the planning!

Yay for Kathryn!

As for the “for now…” comment…I have a big fatty giveaway coming up soon, so stay tuned.

In the meantime, have you seen this?!
