J&J: Wedding Announcement

Last year I was contacted by J, who has SUCH an awesome personality! I loved her immediately. She and her now-husband J have an adorable baby girl together, but they just hadn’t gotten around to marriage yet. Once they’d made it official, they decided to throw a reception to celebrate with their family and friends.

We decided to do an announcement and invitation to the reception featuring their daughter on the front. As you can tell by her “finally!” thought bubble, J’s got a great sense of humor. :)

Their wedding took place overlooking their small town in Texas.  To set the scene, I drew some local cacti and added a little wooden sign with the name of the area.

On the inside, J & J are pictured, celebrating.  :)

There are three main landmarks in their town, so we made sure to bring special attention to them.  :)
